3xRetention is an AI agent that talks to your customers, takes the order, collects the payment — then works out who is about to slip away and brings them back on its own. You do not build a single flow.

3xRetention is an AI agent for businesses that sell through conversations. It handles customer chats on WhatsApp and Instagram — answering questions, sharing your catalogue, sending payment links and issuing invoices. It then sorts every customer by how likely they are to buy again and starts the follow-up itself. Unlike WhatsApp tools that stop at the reply, it keeps working after the conversation ends, and it shows you exactly how much money that brought back.
You spent money on ads to win a customer. They bought. Then they went quiet — and to reach them again, you paid for another ad.
Meanwhile their number is sitting in your phone. Their order history is sitting in your system. You already own the relationship. You are just not using it.

Strong operators reach 70–75%. The gap between those two numbers is the whole opportunity — and it is where the name 3xRetention comes from.
Acquiring a new customer costs five to 25 times more than keeping an existing one. You have already paid for the relationship.

Works with the tools you already run
Most tools give you a canvas and let you draw the automation yourself. That is work, and it is work that never ends — every new product, offer and objection means another flow to build.
3xRetention learns your business once, then decides what to do on its own.
Bhai 20mm ply ka rate kya hai?
20mm marine ply — ₹2,850 per sheet, GST extra. For 50 sheets and above it's ₹2,690. How many do you need?

A customer messages you asking for a price. The agent knows your catalogue, your rates, your minimum order and your delivery timelines — because you gave it that once during setup. It answers properly, in your tone, at 11pm on a Sunday.
When it does not know something, or when the deal is big enough to need you, it hands over to a human and tells them what has happened so far.
The customer decides. The agent confirms quantity, applies your pricing rules, sends a payment link from your own gateway, and issues the invoice the moment payment lands.
The whole thing happens inside the chat. Nobody switches to email, nobody opens a new tab, nobody drops out halfway.
Every conversation tells the agent something. Someone asked the price and went quiet — that is a hot lead. Someone got a payment link and never paid — that is money sitting on the table. Someone who ordered every month has not ordered in nine weeks — that is a customer slipping away.
The agent sorts everyone into these groups by itself and keeps them updated. You never build a list.
Once someone lands in a group, the agent starts the right follow-up — the unpaid payment link gets a nudge the next morning, the customer who stopped ordering gets a reason to come back, the abandoned cart gets one reminder and then stops.
You approve the approach once. After that it runs, and it tells you what it earned.
The word gets used for everything, so here is the honest line between the two.
| Question | A WhatsApp chatbot | |
|---|---|---|
| Who builds the automation | You do, on a flow canvas | Nobody. The agent works it out from your business context. |
| What happens to an unexpected question | It falls through to a human or a dead end | It reasons from what it knows about your business and answers |
| When the conversation ends | It stops | That is when the retention work starts |
| Who decides who to follow up with | You do, by building a segment | The agent sorts contacts itself and keeps them current |
| What it reports | Messages sent, replies, open rate | Repeat revenue, retention rate, customer lifetime value, cost per repeat order |
| What you own at the end | A set of flows you have to maintain | A customer base that keeps buying |
If all you need is an auto-reply on your business hours, a chatbot is cheaper and you should buy one. 3xRetention is for businesses where the customer coming back is worth real money.
Three steps, about seventy minutes of your time, and no developer at any point.
Most businesses are answering live customers on day one. Migrating an existing contact list adds about a day.
The agent creates them from what it learns about your business. You approve the approach once; it handles the timing, the message and when to stop. When you add a product, you update the catalogue — not a canvas.
Official WhatsApp Business API through Meta's own signup — no linked-device workarounds. Opt-in is checked before any outbound message, and you are warned before a send that could hurt your quality rating.
A wholesale distributor and a skincare brand need different numbers. Pick your business type at setup and the agent's behaviour — and your dashboard — change with it.
Every rupee is measured against a holdout group that got nothing, so you see what the agent actually added — not what it happened to be present for.
Answers price, stock, delivery and product questions in your tone, across WhatsApp and Instagram, all day and night.
Sorts every contact into hot, warm, cool, customer, at-risk and dormant — and keeps it accurate as behaviour changes.
Cart recovery, payment follow-up, win-back and reorder reminders, created and timed by the agent rather than by you.
Catalogue, quantity, pricing rules, payment link and GST invoice — the whole order completed without leaving the conversation.
Retention rate, repeat revenue, customer lifetime value and cost per repeat order, measured against a holdout group.
Every conversation and every order against one customer record, shared across your team without sharing a phone.
Your store, your payment gateway, your shipping partner and your CRM — connected, so the agent knows what was ordered, what was paid and where it is.
See the Shopify integrationYour customer sees one agent. Behind it, six parts each do one job and hand the result to the next — which is why nothing waits for you in the middle.
Decides what happens next
Works out who to contact, when, and about what — inside the boundaries you set. This is the part a chatbot does not have: it acts after the conversation ends.
Answers and escalates
Answers from your catalogue, prices and rules, in the language the customer writes in. Hands over to a person, with a summary, when it should not decide alone.
Sorts every contact
Moves each contact between hot, warm, cool, customer, at-risk and dormant after every message and every order.
Writes the follow-up
Writes each message for the situation — the actual product, the actual conversation — not a template with a name merged in.
Closes the order
Confirms quantity, applies your pricing rules, sends the payment link from your gateway and issues the GST invoice.
Proves what it earned
Measures repeat revenue against a holdout group that received nothing, so the number on your dashboard is what the agent added.
Most tools show you how many messages went out and how many were opened. Neither tells you whether you made anything.
3xRetention holds back a small group of customers at random and sends them nothing. The difference between what that group spent and what everyone else spent is what the agent actually added. That is the number on your dashboard.

No. A chatbot follows a flow you build and stops when the conversation ends. 3xRetention builds its own follow-up, sorts your customers by how likely they are to buy again, and keeps selling to them afterwards. It also reports revenue rather than message counts. If you only need an auto-reply, a chatbot is cheaper and you should buy one.
Not through us. We run on the official WhatsApp Business API, which is Meta's sanctioned route for business messaging. Bans usually come from unofficial tools that automate a linked device, from messaging people who never opted in, or from a quality rating that has been allowed to fall. We manage opt-ins, warm-up and quality rating for you, and we will tell you when a send is risky before it goes out.
No, and this is the main difference between us and everything else in the category. You tell the agent about your business once during setup — your catalogue, your pricing rules, what you will and will not promise. It works out the segments and the follow-ups from there. You approve the approach; you do not draw flowcharts.
A flat monthly platform fee, plus WhatsApp's own conversation charges paid to Meta at cost with no markup from us. In India, Meta currently charges around ₹0.86 per marketing conversation and about ₹0.115 for utility and service conversations, plus GST. Our pricing calculator will show your likely total before you talk to anyone.
It only answers from the information you gave it — your catalogue, your prices, your rules. When it is not confident, it does not guess; it hands the conversation to a person and tells them what has happened so far. You set the boundaries during setup, including what it must never discuss, and every conversation is logged so you can check any of it.
Your data stays yours. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in India, isolated from every other customer on the platform, and never used to train AI models. You can export it or have it deleted whenever you want. Our approach to the DPDP Act 2023 is set out in full on our Trust page.
Both, and the product behaves differently for each. B2B accounts get quotations, bulk order handling, invoices and reorder cycles, and the dashboard reports account-level value rather than average order value. Online stores get cart recovery, catalogue browsing and replenishment reminders. You choose your business type during setup and the agent and the reporting adjust.
No, and we will not claim that. The name comes from the gap between a weak repeat-purchase rate — around 25% is common in Indian ecommerce — and a strong one, which good operators push towards 75%. That is roughly a threefold difference, and closing it is what the product is for. What you actually get depends on your business, your margins and your customers.
